1. General Provisions of the Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter referred to as Policy) developed in accordance with Federal Act No. 152 – FZ of July 27, 2006 “On Personal Data”.
1.1 G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as Operator) considers the observance of the rights and freedoms of citizens to be one of the most important conditions of its activities.
1.2 The Policy of the Operator on processing personal data applies to all personal data processed by G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences as well as to all information that can be obtained by the Operator about visitors to the web-site http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en. Personal data are processed in accordance with Federal Act No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.
2. Basic terms used in the Policy:
2.1 Web-site is a collection of graphical and information materials as well as computer programs and databases ensuring the availability thereof in the Internet at the web address http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en;
2.2 Personal data are any information directly or indirectly related to an identified or identifiable natural person (personal data subject), including a User of the web-site http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en;
2.3 User is any visitor to the web-site http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en;
2.4 Operator is a legal person, solely or in conjunction with others organizing and (or) implementing personal data processing as well as defining the purposes of personal data processing, composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) to be executed with personal data;
2.5 Personal data processing is any action (operation) or a series of actions (operations) performed with personal data with or without automation tools, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, refinement (updating, changing), retrieval, use, transfer (dissemination, provision, access), anonymization, blockage, removal, and destruction of personal data;
2.6 Anonymization of personal data is actions making it impossible, without using additional information, to determine whether personal data belong to a specific User or person;
2.7 Dissemination of personal data is any actions resulting in disclosure of personal data to an indefinite number of people;
2.8 Provision of personal data is any actions resulting in disclosure of personal data to a definite number of people;
2.9 Destruction of personal data is any actions resulting in irrevocable destruction of personal data on a computer or any other carriers of information.
3. The Operator can process the following personal data:
- surname, given name, patronymic of a User;
- e-mail address of a User;
- telephone number of a User;
- education, academic degree/rank, position;
- autobiography;
- characteristics;
- other documents;
- The site also collects and processes anonymized data about its visitors (including ‘cookies’) with the help of Internet statistics services (Yandex.Metrics, Google Analytics, etc.).
4. Purposes of personal data processing
4.1 The purpose of processing a User’s personal data specified in clause 3 is the achievement of goals and fulfillment of the functions, powers and responsibilities assigned to the Operator. The Operator also has the right to send notifications to a User of the site http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en. A User can always refuse from receiving information notes by sending the Operator a letter to the address admin@isc-ras.ru.
4.2 Anonymized data of Users collected by means of Internet statistics services are aimed to collect information about Users’ actions on the site, to improve the site quality and content.
5. Legal grounds for personal data processing
5.1 The Operator organizes and (or) carries out personal data processing, defines the purpose of personal data processing, composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) to be performed with personal data in accordance with the current Legislation of the Russian Federation.
5.2 The Operator processes personal data of a User including cases when the data are submitted by the User via the forms from the site http://crystal.isc-ras.ru/en. By sending his or her personal data to the Operator, a User expresses his or her agreement with the present Policy.
5.3 The Operator processes anonymized data about a User in case it is allowed by the User’s browser settings (if the storage of ‘cookies’ and use of the JavaScript technology are enabled).
5.4 Personal data processing is aimed at fulfilling the requirements of the Legislation of the Russian Federation.
6. Procedure of collection, storage, transfer and other types of personal data processing
6.1 The Operator processes and stores personal data until the Operator achieves the purposes of personal data processing or it becomes unnecessary to achieve these purposes.
6.2 In the event there are inaccuracies in the personal data, a User can update them by sending the Operator an e-mail notification to the Operator’s e-mail address admin@isc-ras.ru or to the postal address 153045, Ivanovo, 1 Akademicheskaya St., marked “Personal data Updating”.
6.3 The period of personal data processing is unlimited. A User can withdraw his or her consent to personal data processing at any moment by sending the Operator an e-mail notification to the Operator’s e-mail address admin@isc-ras.ru or to the postal address 153045, Ivanovo, 1 Akademicheskaya St., marked “Withdrawal of consent to personal data processing”.
7. Final Provisions
7.1 A User can receive any clarification about processing of his or her personal data by sending a request to the Operator to the e-mail address admin@isc-ras.ru or to the postal address 153045, Ivanovo, 1 Akademicheskaya St.
7.2 This document shall reflect any changes introduced to the personal data processing policy by the Operator. In case of significant changes, a User, at his or her request, can be sent information to the e-mail address specified by him or her.
